Fish Seller

Michael Lees Photography: Wonderful Thailand &emdash; Fish Seller

A street vender prepares his fish for the day.

As I wondered through the back streets of Bangkok I was amazed by the amount of street sellers. You can buy just about anything, if you know where to go. I suspect this is how the majority of people in the city buy their everyday stuff. OK, the health and hygiene standards might be a little different from what I am used to, but it seems to work for the locals. Life must be tough for these sellers and their income modest, but the people I met appeared to be happy and I guess that is all any of us can wish for.
